Little Debbie Today, We Bake Campaign

McKee Foods was looking for something that spoke to “freshness” when they asked my team for this campaign. It’s hard to say that about individually-wrapped snack cakes. But, in my mind, I could imagine a world where the people of Little Debbie WERE bakers. And that’s at least freshness-adjacent.

The rhyming – you may or may not find it a little cringe. But, when I created this work, I noticed a significant uptick of this trend from other brands. Call it the cultural zeitgeist, if you will. I would. I just did. Oh, and the VO artist was a big star on My Little Pony – adorbs! Enjoy this little slice of what I call “WONKAMERICANA.”
